Promax Protouch Network Settings

Changing the IP addresses of a Promax unit with a Protouch GUI is very simple; however there is an easy trap to fall into while doing it.

Protouch Network Settings

Follow these steps:

DO NOT TAP THE CHECK MARK UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE FOLLOWING STEPS
UNDER 99.9% OF CIRCUMSTANCES YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CHANGE THE CONTROL PORT

Change the Promax IP address.
Change the Protouch IP address..
Change the Default Gateway to match that of the office network.

Now that you have changed both addresses go ahead and tap that check mark.
Go ahead and give the machine a reboot and you are done.
